Rachel Grisewood is the founder and CEO of Manna from Heaven and The Sydney Biscuit Company. She started Manna from Heaven in her kitchen seventeen years ago. Today, it has grown into a company employing thirty five talented, hard-working people, who make cakes, biscuits and pastries by hand, using the finest ingredients.
Rachael personally developed and perfected each recipe, sourcing the ingredients individually from all over Australia and beyond. All the ingredients are individually sourced by Rachel and remain a constant in the baking of all the products.
Rachel believes that the quality, taste and origin of every single ingredient produce a better tasting product; all the eggs used in the Manna from Heaven kitchen are organic and come from Clarendon Farm, Picton. She uses Callebaut and locally made Kennedy and Wilson chocolate and organic eggs from Clarendon Farm. The dried fruit and nuts come from South Australia and she uses Udder Delights goat’s cheese in the pastries.
