Enjoy a “hot & spicy” experience at Nilgiri’s, where chef Ajoy Joshi introduces you to the pleasures of cooking Indian food. The classes are limited to small groups of about 14 students and offer a fascinating insight into Indian culture and food, dispelling some of the myths and misconceptions commonly held about the cuisine.
Ajoy begins with an introduction to the wonderful world of spices, herbs and other ingredients used in Indian cooking, followed by a discussion on the philosophy of Indian food. He moves on to the theme/menu for the day, starting the demonstration with basics, following up with variations on the theme. And yes, you even get to eat the food!!
