In recent times we have stumbled across many articles about school canteens & schools generally across developing nations withdrawing unhealthy foods from their offerings.

Whilst the cover story in the Sydney Morning Herald's good living lift out was once again highlighting the importance of 'healthy' and 'homemade' options at the school canteen.
One father was able to put into practice his recently gleened 'knowledge' about simple and unprocessed foods in the public school attended by his daughter. He was already serving healthy foods, but there was still a lot of processad and packed food on the shelves. He started to make everything from scratch, using the best ingredients he could find.
