The Wootton Valley Meat story began when Jim Ballantine wanted to share the beef that he and his family have enjoyed eating for more than 15 years, with the rest of Australia.
He thought there had to be a cheaper way for the consumer to buy good quality meat...and he's found it!
By ordering online, or coming to see us at your local Farmers Market, we cut out the middle man and the price is right for you!
Wootton Valley Meat comes from our own farm, Ballantine Estate, in the beautiful fertile grasslands of Wootton, 14 kms inland from Bulahdelah, where we raise pasture fed, hormone free Angus and cross Hereford/Sant Gertrudis beef.
Our meat is vacuum sealed (cryovaced) which will keep in the fridge for up to 3 weeks and the freezer for 12 months, or we can provide you with packaged, fresh meat that will last for 3-4 days in the fridge.
